Custom Plugin Suite
12 custom audio plugins I built from scratch in C++ — DSP, UI, and presets all researched and tuned specifically for my own mics, instruments, and mixing style.

Custom Plugin Suite
A 12-plugin audio suite I designed and built entirely from scratch — every effect is my own C++ DSP code and UI, running natively in Logic and any AU/VST3 host. No plugin skins over someone else's engine; I wrote the signal processing myself, from EQ curves to a tape-echo model with wow/flutter.
I leaned hard on AI coding tools (Claude Code) to get here — not to write music, but to compress the learning curve on DSP theory and JUCE's C++ framework, and to speed up research and implementation so I could focus on how each plugin should actually sound and behave for the kind of music I make.
The presets aren't factory defaults, either. Each one is tuned against research into my own recording chain — my mics, my instruments, my mix habits — so they start close to right instead of generic.
Vocal Chain
Four plugins built around how I actually track and mix vocals: a dynamic EQ for problem frequencies, an upward/downward leveler, tape-style saturation for warmth, and a vocal rider modeled after manual gain-riding.

Harmonies & Space
Stereo widening for stacked harmonies, a natural-sounding reverb tuned for strings, and a tape echo with two very different presets — a tight vocal slap and a washier pedal-steel delay.

Instrument-Specific Tools
A body-resonator plugin modeled and tuned specifically for my Taylor 214ce paired with an NT5, and a transient shaper dialed in for fingerstyle detail on drums and percussion.

Mix Bus
A glue-and-drive mix bus with a built-in limiter and LUFS metering, targeting streaming loudness standards out of the box.

The full suite also includes MK_Character (a Pultec-style coloring EQ) and MK_Reference (an A/B and loudness-matching utility), rounding out 12 plugins total. Shipped as a free, cross-DAW AU + VST3 installer for personal use.
